To ensure a thorough understanding of your mental health, current situation, background, goals, and needs, please allow for 1-2 sessions for a comprehensive assessment. While treatment recommendations may begin in the first session, most clients find that it takes at least 4 sessions to implement strategies and begin experiencing meaningful benefits. Progress takes time!
Some concerns - such as relationship difficulties or trauma processing - may require a longer course of therapy. Your clinician will check in with you regularly to review progress and ensure your needs and goals continue to guide the process. They will also help you to identify any roadblocks that may be slowing the process or making it harder to progress.
